The Regional Natural Resource Management Plan is composed of the relevant existing plans for the region and is reviewed on an annual basis.
It has been prepared on the basis that it is bringing together existing plans and programs, established under the now repealed former legislation, as well as the current integrated natural resources management plan for the region. These existing plans and programs have been developed with the involvement of the community and will continue to be implemented while the board prepares its comprehensive regional NRM plan.
